When the golf club formed we continued our Lake tradition. The colorful names drifted away, although they resurfaced a couple of times when Team AWA Infield won the tournament in 2003, followed by the colorful shirts of Team Tie Dye, who won the event in '04. Team Plaid made a big splash in 2009, though they failed to win that year. Come to think of it, we kind of miss those old team names.
The format for the event is 4-person scramble, and this year we return to Nevada to play at Genoa Lakes Golf Club. As a mid-summer event, this is a nice opportunity to make it a long weekend visit at the Lake. After the round, we can visit the "Oldest Bar in Nevada". After all, it's tradition.

It took teamwork to win the 2019 Scramble at the Lake
