Kip had a short three-year tour with AWA, mostly just playing tournaments, but the enduring memory for most players is not the gifted athleticism, the strong arm, or the solid line drives he used to knock out. Nope, it was that damn chewing tobacco. Kip could dirty a dugout floor faster and better than anyone who's ever played for AWA. Watch your shoes! He also got out without ever having his picture taken, which makes making his baseball card a little difficult. (That's not really him pictured at left, although with an inadvertant swallow of tobacco, you never know). |
